Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1977 - Goldtop

This an early December 1977 Nashville Factory Les Paul Deluxe with mini humbuckers. It's headstock-imprinted serial number is: 73347584. I am not a guitar-tech or retailer, so my rating of this guitar as being in "Good" condition is based only on my readings of similar guitar listings.

I have priced this guitar below the suggested selling price range because I did not have my guitar tech document the originality and age of the internal electronics of this guitar, so the only information I have about the pots' dates and originality is that the tech at the last service did not tell me of any replacements, repairs or changes.

This guitar was last serviced around 2016 when the pickups were waxed to solve a feedback tendency. At that time, the guitar tech replaced the tuners with new Grovers, as I had bent one of the original tuners. All the six of the original tuners are included in this offering.

The guitar tech noted that it would need a re-fret fairly soon, so this became my backup guitar and has seen little use since then. I personally found the neck and frets to be very comfortable and, overall, this guitar played well for me. I have not used it since 2017.

I tried to provide photographs of every blemish, the three most prominent being a gold-loss of less than one square inch by the control knobs, a small pickguard crack at one of the pickguard screws, and a significant buckle-wear area on the back. This is the first time I have sold a guitar since 1974, so please feel free to ask for additional information or photos.
