This case dates to the 1955–1957 production window (even early '58 as well) and is in Very Good condition with all the honest relic you'd expect from a working piece of vintage Fender history. The tweed shows beautiful patina and natural discoloration, with traces of old stickers and faded stencil marks that speak to its age and life, exactly what you want to see if you're buying this.

Structurally, this case is solid. No cracks in the wood whatsoever, the integrity is fully intact. All three latches close and function properly (latch springs are absent but the latches operate fine). It fits Precision Basses from the corresponding years and functions with any P-Bass as well.
